TENDER DESCRIPTION
The city of Wunstorf plans the extension and conversion of the Steinhude elementary school into an all-day school. The existing school buildings will be converted for all-day use and expanded by new timber construction buildings. The construction work will be carried out in staggered construction phases. The new buildings will house the classrooms, a connecting corridor (1st construction phase), as well as the foyer and a dining hall (2nd construction phase). The existing buildings will be converted for all-day use (2nd + 3rd construction phases). Before the new construction begins, parts of the existing building stock will be demolished in two stages. In the first stage, the existing gymnasium and adjacent ancillary rooms will be demolished to clear the construction site for the 1st construction phase. After completion of the 1st construction phase, a connecting corridor and an annex (classroom and WC facilities) will be demolished to clear the construction site for the 2nd construction phase.
