TENDER DESCRIPTION
As part of the general refurbishment of the high-performance rail network Hagen–Hamm, in Bönen the existing level crossing (BÜ) will be replaced by a rail overpass (EÜ). The rail overpass structure will be built from a total of five separate superstructures, each designed as a single-span girder. For tracks 3, 4 and 10, trough bridges with an orthotropic slab will be used, while the superstructures for tracks 1 and 2 will be constructed as structures with rolled steel girders cast in concrete (WiB). The abutments will be erected on an elevated bored pile foundation with a bearing beam. Due to the high groundwater level, the structure will be founded using overlapping bored pile walls, which at the same time provide the function of a watertight retaining system for the later road trough structure.
