TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter is the detailed planning, production, delivery and commissioning of a total of 11 visual, interactive and audio media stations; the hardware is not the subject of this invitation to tender. The media production is intended for the content-based, atmospheric and interactive communication of the topics of the Museum of the Lower Rhine’s Soul — in particular the structural change in the Rheinisches Revier, the regional sound and everyday culture of the Lower Rhine, as well as the effects of digital change on community and the world of work. The aim is to make these topics experienceable in a clear, emotionally accessible, playfully creative and technically stable way. The media are to convey historical and social developments in a way that is easy to understand, make individual perspectives experienceable, enable interaction and visitors’ own creative contributions, and ensure contemporary museum-based communication.
