The existing buildings planned on the basis of G-8 reach their capacity limits starting from the 2025/26 school year and, due to forecast increases in student numbers, require an extension. To the north of the gymnasium is the secondary school (Mittelschule) of the city of Buchloe with a triple sports hall and an indoor swimming pool, as well as the Realschule, which is also under the sponsorship of the district of Ostallgäu.
