TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is a new or used wheeled harvester suitable for teaching use. In order to ensure a smooth transition of students into working life, students must be offered the opportunity for practical training at the school’s teaching work sites at all benchmark brands in the forestry machinery sector. At present, Työtehoseura has all three benchmark brands of forestry machines available for teaching use. To keep the machine fleet up to date, we are now procuring a new harvester in place of the currently used Ponsse harvester, within the procurement appropriation available. The offered machine must be suitable in terms of its features for cultivation cuttings and, in terms of its information systems, compatible with WoodForce / UPM. The harvester is required to have available an interface-compatible simulator training environment for it. The simulator is not included in the procurement. The detailed requirements and scoring criteria are presented in a separate attachment. The offered machine must meet all official Finnish authority requirements, regulations and standards at the time of delivery. The machine must be delivered to Rajamäki in working condition…
