TENDER DESCRIPTION

Hazardous material remediation and complete demolition of a gymnasium, built around 1981; building dimensions approx. 33 m x 28 m (maximum dimensions); height of hall roof approx. 7.00; height of ancillary room wing approx. 4 m; building embedded approx. 1 m into the ground. Steel frame construction with brick infill, reinforced concrete ground slab, strip footings, piers footings, flat roof trapezoidal sheet metal with KMF insulation located on the inside, and XPS insulation on the outside, and EPDM roofing waterproofing membranes. Internal walls made of calcium silicate masonry, external walls made of reinforced concrete and calcium silicate masonry. Among other things, the following hazardous material applications (in all parts of the building) were found: - Asbestos-containing flat/gland gaskets on pipework, door frame infill, fire protection and smoke-tight doors, finned radiators with seals that are to be classified as asbestos-containing due to their age in technical installations, fire protection dampers, flat/gland gaskets, component joints, etc. - KMF-containing insulation on pipe insulation, e.g. under sheet metal, cardboard, rigid cladding and aluminium foil…
