Neubau Sporthalle Frankenhof (Frankenhalle)

TENDER DESCRIPTION

The planned Frankenhalle is a new 3-court sports hall, intended primarily for school operations of the Schulzentrum am Sund (also referred to as Campus am Sund). The existing school site is located at the edge of the historic old town, at the transition to the Frankenvorstadt. Both districts are densely populated and well connected. The “Schulzentrum am Sund” is a Cooperative Comprehensive School (Kooperative Gesamtschule, KGS), in which the regional and the grammar-school levels work together and live side by side on an equal basis within a social and educational network. The aim of the construction project is the erection of a modern, barrier-free 3-court sports hall for approximately 1,000 pupils in grades 5 to 12 for the Schulzentrum am Sund. Hansestadt Stralsund plans the new construction of this 3-court sports hall on an adjacent property next to the “Am Sund” school centre.
