TENDER DESCRIPTION
The planned Frankenhalle is a new 3-court sports hall, intended primarily for the school operation of the “Schulzentrum am Sund” (also called the Campus am Sund). The existing school site is located at the edge of the historic old town, at the transition to the Frankenvorstadt. Both districts are densely populated and well connected. The “Schulzentrum am Sund” is a Cooperative Comprehensive School (Kooperative Gesamtschule, KGS), in which the regional and the academic (gymnasial) school sections work and live together on an equal footing in a social and educational partnership.
