TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction work comprises, in accordance with the tender documents for the Haruspuisto project, all work and purchases necessary to complete the project fully. The construction relates to the complete renovation of all operational areas of Haruspuisto. In addition to functional areas, the work includes the restoration of paths and nature areas. Haruspuisto is an urban renewal project in the Meri-Rastila area. The theme of the park is Baltic marine life. The aim is that the theme is visible in the environment, in furniture and equipment, and in their site-specific design adapted to the location, as well as in materials. Haruspuisto will be built as a park complex of an exceptionally high standard, serving in a versatile manner both recreational and educational use, for residents of the nearby area as well as for those arriving from elsewhere. The client is the General Areas service of the City of Helsinki’s urban environment division, which also acts as the contracting authority in accordance with YSE 98.
