Draft description: History: The former fire station in Igstadt is located on the main road at Lindenplatz in the town centre. The building from the 1920s is technically outdated and in need of renovation. The function of the existing building was replaced by a new fire station building on the periphery of Igstadt. In March 2020, the planning of a new-build alternative was commissioned. The new-build planning received approval from the local advisory council and the associations. Scope of the assignment: The preliminary design with a qualified cost estimate was completed at the end of September 2021. From the beginning of September 2022, the design planning, service phase 3 (LP 3), was commissioned. Submission of LP 3 took place at the end of December 2022. A redesign concluded in early May 2023 with completion of the revised cost estimate. Location: The plot of land of the House of Associations is situated in the centre of Igstadt on a hilltop with considerable topographical features.
