SBH | Schulbau Hamburg has the task, as a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), of planning, constructing, maintaining and managing school properties taking into account the needs of schools according to economic principles, and of leasing more than 400 schools to the Authority for Schools and Vocational Training (Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung, BSB). --------------- The former site of the University of Applied Sciences for Construction is to be converted into a campus school. The buildings and outdoor facilities are under monument protection and are to be refurbished and redesigned.
