TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the Provinces Act (Provinciewet), the Municipalities Act (Gemeentewet), the Water Boards Act (Waterschapswet) and the Act on Public Bodies BES (Wet openbare lichamen BES), the obligation to offset any side-income (neveninkomsten) of full-time active political office holders is included. The manner in which information about side-income must be provided and the consequences of not providing this information are laid down in the legal position decisions. The offsetting is carried out using an application by the administrative authority (or administrative authorities) where the political office holder was employed in the preceding calendar year or has been employed. The contract to be awarded concerns providing a helpdesk where questions from contact persons and political office holders relating to carrying out the calculation of the side-income of these local political office holders for the purpose of offsetting the income from non-office-bound secondary positions (niet-ambtsgebonden nevenfuncties) are answered. The agreement lasts for a maximum of 12 years and, in terms of scope, is €70,000–€80,000 per year. The maximum amount therefore comes to €960,000. In the Provinces Act…
