TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency has decided to enter into 4-year framework agreements for tasks related to the construction, supervision, and contract performance management for the additional funding share for the Helsinki–Riihimäki capacity increase, Phase 2. The agreement may be extended for up to four (4) option years, one year at a time. With the additional funding, a new freight rail line will be implemented, starting from the Hyvinkää traffic station on the Hangö railway, crossing from the west side of the main tracks in Monni, passing over other tracks, and ending at the Riihimäki freight yard. In addition, the project includes changes, e.g. to bridges and other structures, signalling equipment and electrical rail infrastructure structures, as well as noise control. The area’s construction plans are expected to be completed at the beginning of 2027. Based on this framework agreement, the contracting authority will commission the tasks of a client’s consultant and supervision of track works for the additional funding share.
