TENDER DESCRIPTION
The clinical laboratory of VITAZ vzw wishes, through this public procurement, to renew the current equipment referred to as "Hemoculture incubator(s)", in order to guarantee the continuity of microbiological blood culture diagnostics. The contracting authority aims for a solution that provides automatic detection of positive hemocultures. Furthermore, the clinical biologists require that it should be possible to load samples without a laboratory staff member needing to open the incubator. Both positive and negative cultures must be automatically unloaded by the incubator. In addition, the solution must have a minimum capacity of 800 available incubation positions. The purchase of the equipment includes delivery, installation, commissioning, validation, and training for the operators. In addition to the purchase of the equipment, the contract includes concluding a framework agreement for the supply of device-specific consumables and reagents during the estimated economic life of the equipment, which is estimated at 10 years.
