TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter of the procurement in Class 1 is passenger transport services. Mobility support service. Pursuant to Section 30 of the Disability Services Act (675/2023), a person with a disability has the right to receive mobility support for the number of trips that they necessarily need for work and study trips and for trips related to activities supporting employment, work activities, coaching/training, special support for participation, supported decision-making, demanding multi-disciplinary support and short-term care. For trips for other forms of normal life, the person with a disability has the right to mobility support for at least 18 one-way trips per month, unless the person with a disability applies for a smaller number of trips. The mobility support service under Section 23 of the Social Welfare Act is granted to persons who are unable to use public transport independently due to illness, disability or another similar reason that reduces their functional capacity, and who need the service for handling matters or due to some other need that belongs to everyday life.
