TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter of the procurement in Class 1 is passenger transport. The mobility support service. Pursuant to Section 30 of the Act on Disability Services (675/2023), a person with a disability has the right to receive mobility support for journeys to and from work and studies and for trips to activities that support employment, work activities, coaching, special participation support, supported decision-making, demanding multi-professional support and short-term care, in such quantity as is necessarily required. For trips in other everyday life, the right to receive mobility support is at least 18 one-way trips per month, unless the person with a disability applies for a smaller number of trips. The mobility support service in accordance with Section 23 of the Social Welfare Act is granted to persons who are not able to use public transport independently due to illness, disability or another comparable reason that reduces functional capacity, and who need the service for making arrangements or for another need that is part of everyday life.
