TENDER DESCRIPTION

Assignments executed under this framework agreement relate to the Helsinki-Tampere railway section and, in principle, to the following projects: • Helsinki-Riihimäki capacity increase phases 2 and 3, and • Helsinki-Tampere refurbishment, initial phase Notwithstanding the foregoing, assignments under the framework agreement may also be commissioned for other new projects possibly starting during the agreement period on the said railway section. The objective of the framework agreement is to efficiently provide projects with high-quality design and expert materials. Assignments executed under the framework agreement relate to various design phases of the projects as well as design and expert tasks during construction: • railway and road design, • electrification and high voltage design, • signalling system design, • geotechnical design, • design and refurbishment design of engineering structures, • noise and vibration assessments, • environmental design and assessments, • environmental technical services and expert assessments on rail network usage (excluding project management and supervision), and • external auditing.
