TENDER DESCRIPTION

Assignments carried out under this framework agreement relate to the Helsinki-Tampere railway section and primarily to the following projects: • Helsinki-Riihimäki capacity increase phases 2 and 3, and • Helsinki-Tampere basic improvement, starting phase Notwithstanding the above premise, assignments under the framework agreement may also be commissioned for other new projects possibly starting during the contract period on the said railway section. The objective of the framework agreement is to efficiently provide high-quality design and expert material for the use of the projects. Assignments commissioned under the framework agreement relate to different design phases of the projects, as well as design and expert tasks during construction: • railway and road design, • overhead line and heavy current design, • signalling equipment design, • geotechnical design, • design and repair design of engineering structures, • noise and vibration surveys, • environmental planning and investigations, • environmental technical services and expert investigations on the use of the railway network (excluding construction management and supervision), and • external auditing.
