TENDER DESCRIPTION

The project “Reconstruction of Veursestraatweg” in the municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg focuses on the reconstruction and re-profiling of an important connecting road between Leidschendam and Voorschoten. The aim is to make the road safer for traffic, improve its crossing capability, ensure that the road better connects to the surrounding landscape, and provide space for future area developments, such as residential construction. The works consist mainly of: - carrying out various clearing and cleanup activities; - cleaning watercourses; - excavating, transporting and processing soil; - processing sand; - installing culverts; - installing sewerage and pressure pipeline; - placing sheet pile/retaining timber (lining); - processing road construction foundation materials; - processing asphalt; - applying surface treatment; - installing paving stones/road surfacing; - planting trees; - installing site perimeter fencing; - fertilising and sowing/seed planting; - ancillary works.
