TENDER DESCRIPTION
In the Rathaus Hopfenstraße, the existing standby power supply unit (NEA) including the control system has been taken out of service. For an interim period, a temporary standby power supply unit was installed in the inner courtyard. The original existing standby power supply unit is located in the 2nd basement level (2. UG) and was originally water-cooled via external cooling towers. Due to the reduced performance requirements resulting from the restructuring of the emergency power supply, in future a standby power supply unit with a capacity of 250 kVA will be sufficient. The capacity is dimensioned in particular for supplying the data center and for the safe tripping of the downstream protective devices. The required adaptations to the switchgear have already been carried out as part of a preliminary measure. Since an air-cooled system in the 2nd basement level cannot be implemented for ventilation/air-handling technical reasons, it was decided to install the new standby power supply unit in the existing technical control room on the 5th floor (5. OG).
