TENDER DESCRIPTION

In Rathaus Hopfenstraße, the existing power backup system (NEA) including the control system was decommissioned. For a transitional period, a temporary power backup system was installed in the inner courtyard. The original existing power backup system is located in the 2nd basement (2. UG) and was originally cooled with water via external cooling towers. Due to the reduced power requirements resulting from the restructuring of the emergency power supply, in future a power backup system with a capacity of 250 kVA will be sufficient. The capacity is dimensioned in particular for supplying the data processing center and for the safe actuation of the downstream protective devices. The necessary modifications to the switchgear for this purpose have already been carried out as part of a preliminary measure. Since an air-cooled system in the 2nd basement (2. UG) cannot be implemented in a sensible manner for ventilation-engineering reasons, it was decided to install the new power backup system in the existing technical services room on the 5th floor (5.
