TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract includes all earthworks, civil engineering, surfacing, and ancillary works required for the complete construction of the storage and container yard. This in particular includes setting up the construction site, removing the existing topsoil and unsuitable subsoil layers, producing and compacting the subgrade in accordance with the required profiles, and installing the specified frost protection, load-bearing, and wearing courses. The excavated soil masses must be taken up, loaded, transported, and re-used or disposed of in accordance with the specifications of the bill of quantities. The designated areas are to be constructed according to their intended later use as grass paver (reinfoced lawn grid stone) areas or as unbound crushed stone areas. This also includes the required edging with deep curbstones (trench kerbs), connections to existing surfaces, and the formation of the specified levels and gradients. For the storage boxes, an even and sufficiently load-bearing installation surface is to be provided.
