TENDER DESCRIPTION

Within the management and operation of Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt., there are 6,447 bridges, of which 98% are national road bridges used by motor vehicles and 2% are pedestrian and cycle-path bridges. Based on actual bridge and culvert maintenance works in the past 2 years, the contracting authority is expected to send out approximately 50–70 occasional orders per year to the national road bridges used by motor vehicles, of which 1–5 relate to maintenance of cycle-path bridges. In the occasional orders, the expected minimum intervention length for installing and/or for full or partial replacement of the carriageway expansion joint structure is 20 metres. In the occasional orders, the expected minimum intervention length for installing and/or for full or partial replacement of the expansion joint structure with rubber profile is 15 metres.
