TENDER DESCRIPTION

A total of 6,447 bridges fall under the management and operation of Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt.; 98% of them are national road bridges used by motor vehicles and 2% are pedestrian and cycle path bridges. Based on actual bridge and culvert maintenance works from the past 2 years, the Contracting Authority is expected to send approximately 50-70 occasional orders per year for national road bridges used by motor vehicles, of which 1-5 relate to maintenance of cycle path bridges. In the occasional orders, the expected minimum intervention length for the installation and/or full/partial replacement of the asphalt expansion joint structure is 20 metres. In the occasional orders, the expected minimum intervention length for the installation and/or full/partial replacement of the rubber profile expansion joint structure is 15 metres.
