TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this tender is: • the purchase of 2 new or like-new continuous-feed printing systems (inkjet-based S/W printing; during the term of the contract an additional reconfiguration or upgrade of the systems to colour printing is also planned (“field upgrade”), uniform model series and identical processing speeds of at least approx. 2,000 printed pages/minute in duplex operation) with the performance features stated in the specifications • delivery and installation ready for operation of the continuous-feed printing systems at BA in Nuremberg • commissioning of Müller Martini with regard to any necessary adaptation of the already existing roll unwinding/winding modules “HUNKELER UW8” and/or “HUNKELER RW8” • instruction of BA internal operating personnel (“Users”) in the new systems • in-depth training of BA internal deployment managers/deputy deployment managers (“Super Users”) • claims for defects (service concept) for a period of 7 years from commissioning • delivery of replacement/wear parts required for operating the continuous-feed printing systems as part of the User Charge billing or maintenance flat-rate.
