TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this invitation to tender is: • the purchase of 2 new or like-new continuous printing systems (inkjet-based S/W printing, during the term of the contract an additional conversion/upgrade of the systems to colour printing is also planned (“field upgrade”), uniform model series and identical processing speeds of at least approx. 2,000 printed pages/minute in duplex operation) with the performance features listed in the service specifications • delivery and installation ready for operation of the continuous printing systems at the BA in Nuremberg • engaging the company Müller Martini with regard to any necessary adjustments to the already existing unwind/rewind modules “HUNKELER UW8” and/or “HUNKELER RW8” • instruction of the BA in-house operating personnel (“Users”) in the new systems • in-depth training of the BA in-house operations managers/deputy operations managers (“Super Users”) • claims arising from defects (service concept) for a period of 7 years from commissioning • delivery of spare/consumable parts required for operation of the continuous printing systems within the framework of the User-Charge billing or maintenance flat-rate.
