TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Schulwerk of the Diocese of Augsburg, a church foundation under public law, is tendering the HVAC specialist planning (service description § 55 HOAI) for the general renovation and partial replacement new construction of the Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium in St. Ottilien in phases starting from service phase 1. The Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium, currently hosting over 680 pupils and 60 teachers, is housed today in a school building from the 1960s that was expanded in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. The current school building is not barrier-free and shows significant functional deficiencies as well as structural/physical deficiencies. The so-called day home (former St. Katharina Monastery) currently accommodates rooms for all-day supervision of the pupils. The former St. Katharina Monastery has meanwhile been listed as an individual monument under monument protection. After thorough variant analyses, it is now planned to carry out a general renovation of the former St. Katharina Monastery and use it for school purposes in the future.
