TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Subject of procurement A confocal laser scanning microscope is to be procured for high-resolution microscopic examination of biological samples and biomaterial-based systems. 2. Scope of application The system is intended for research work in the fields of cell biology, biomaterials, 3D cell cultures and structured samples. It shall enable high-resolution imaging of samples, acquisition of fluorescence signals, and analysis of three-dimensional structures. 3. Functional requirements The system must in particular be suitable for: - confocal fluorescence microscopy - optical section imaging and Z-stacks - high-resolution image acquisition of biological and biomaterial-based samples - multi-channel imaging - quantitative image analysis - documentation and export of image data 4.
