TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Subject of procurement A plate-based qPCR system is to be procured with at least 96 reaction positions for quantitative analysis of nucleic acids. Systems in 96-well or 384-well format are permissible; a 384-well format is not a minimum requirement. 2. Scope of application The system is used for molecular biology applications, in particular for the analysis of gene expression, for the quantification of nucleic acids, and for standardized qPCR-based investigations in the field of biomedical research and genomics. 3. Functional requirements The system must be suitable in particular for: - Real-time PCR measurements - quantitative gene expression analyses (RT-qPCR) - absolute and relative quantification of nucleic acids - melting curve analyses - multiplex analyses - genotyping and copy number variation (CNV) applications - analysis and documentation of measurement results 4. Basic technical requirements A system with the following basic characteristics is required: - thermocycler unit suitable for the intended qPCR applications - at least 96 reaction positions per run; 96-well and 384-well systems are permissible - suitable optical detection system - reaction volume range…
