TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Subject of procurement A rotational rheometer is to be procured for the analysis of rheological properties and the mechanical characterization of soft materials. 2. Scope of application The system is used in particular for research work on biological samples, hydrogels, soft polymers and elastomers. The focus is on measurements on very soft materials in the low force and torque range. 3. Functional requirements The system must in particular be suitable for: - oscillatory and rotational measurements - determination of viscoelastic parameters such as G', G"? and tan - gelation kinetics - creep/recovery measurements - flow curves and steady-state measurements - measurements in the low measurement range with high torque and angular resolution 4. Basic technical requirements A system with the following basic properties is required: - high torque resolution - high angular and positional resolution - controlled temperature control - effective evaporation protection - suitable measuring geometries for small sample volumes - normal force measurement - control and evaluation software - modular expandability, so that additional measuring geometries and further measurement methods, in…
