TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Subject of procurement A high-performance workstation is to be procured for the analysis, visualization and evaluation of high-resolution 3D and 4D image series from the confocal laser scanning microscope. The workstation serves as a central evaluation workstation for large and data-intensive scientific image datasets. 2. Scope of application The workstation will be used in research projects in cell biology, biomaterials science, 3D cell culture, tissue engineering and other imaging applications. In particular, it should be able to process Z-stacks and time series, enable 3D reconstructions and quantitative image analyses, and support the creation of publication-ready representations. 3. Functional requirements The system (hardware and software) must in particular be suitable for: - efficient processing of large image datasets up to project-related data volumes in the terabyte range - 3D and 4D visualization of Z-stacks and time-lapse recordings - segmentation and analysis of cells and tissues - quantitative image analysis - export of high-resolution images and analysis data in common scientific formats - use by multiple authorized user accounts with suitable access control 4.…
