TENDER DESCRIPTION

The execution of the flood protection project will be carried out in two separate lots. - Lot Preliminary measures - Lot Main works This invitation to tender comprises the works of Lot Preliminary measures. The Lot Main works is not part of this invitation to tender. The works under Lot Preliminary measures include the following measures: Geissbergbach Above Hochweidstrasse, a new sediment trap (bedload/silt collector) will be created. The inlet area will be constructed with blocks in concrete. As an outlet structure, a concrete wall with embedded steel supports (gratings) will be built. Access for maintenance to the sediment trap will be provided from Hochweidstrasse via a new access road with crushed stone turf. The existing culvert (best.) of Hochweidstrasse will remain unchanged. Above the gravel collector, the channel will be expanded to the required HW cross-section by means of a newly constructed basin structure with sills, consisting of 1.5 to 2.5 tonne heavy blocks in concrete.
