TENDER DESCRIPTION

The execution of the flood protection project will be carried out in two separate lots. - Lot preliminary measures - Lot main works This tender covers the work of Lot preliminary measures. The lot main works is not part of this tender. The work in Lot preliminary measures comprises the following measures: Geissbergbach Above Hochweidstrasse, a new debris trap (sediment collector) will be built. The inlet area will be constructed using concrete blocks. As a discharge structure, a concrete wall with inserted steel supports (grates) will be built. The maintenance access to the sediment collector will be from Hochweidstrasse via a new access road with gravel turf. The existing (tbd.) culvert at Hochweidstrasse remains unchanged. Above the gravel collector, the channel will be expanded to the required HW cross-section by means of a newly created basin structure with sills, consisting of 1.5 to 2.5 tonne heavy blocks in concrete. The blocks on the slopes will not be embedded in concrete. Further up, at the exit of the forest, a diversion dam will be created by terrain modification.
