TENDER DESCRIPTION

Part 1: The successful tenderer’s task is the manual sorting of curbside separately collected packaging waste into 12 separate secondary raw material fractions (mixed paper, cardboard paper, PET, PP/PS, HDPE/PP, film fractions, beverage cartons, ferrous, aluminium and large-item metal packaging waste), as well as cleaning of the sorting plant by shift, and weekly deep cleaning of the sorting conveyor belt and its surroundings. The service is performed in a two-shift working schedule, with at least 12 persons ensured per shift. Work on Saturdays may typically be required only if weekday shifts fall out due to maintenance, malfunction or other operational circumstances. During performance, the maximum framework quantity is 3,680,000 kg, while the annual performance target is sorting 3,200,000 kg of waste. The Contracting Authority examines achievement of the annual performance target monthly on a time-proportional basis. The basis for determining performance is the combined weight of baled secondary raw materials measured on a D70E type scale, and the combined weight of bulk secondary raw materials measured on a verified weighbridge and sorting residue.
