TENDER DESCRIPTION

The object of the procurement is the implementation of the basic renovation of the B-wing of HUS Women's Hospital as a collaborative project management contract with a target budget. The B-wing is the last unrenovated part of the main building of the Women's Hospital. The building was taken into use in 1934 and is protected under zoning plan as sr-2. The basic renovation covers the B-wing from the tunnel level to the roof (total area approx. 8,661 gross m²), resolves indoor air quality issues, and renews the premises to meet the requirements of specialized medical care. Additionally, a connecting corridor will be built between the C and L wings, a new elevator installed, and the roof raised to accommodate the ventilation machine room spaces. The planning of the basic renovation is currently underway. The project will be carried out in an operational hospital environment, where continuity of operations, patient and personnel safety, as well as high cleanliness and hygiene requirements must be considered.
