TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Free State of Thuringia, represented by the Thuringian State Office for the Environment, Mining and Nature Conservation (TLUBN), plans measures to sustainably improve flood protection for the city of Gera on the Weiße Elster from Gera-Zwötzen to Gera-Liebschwitz. The project will be implemented in sections. The subject of this construction description is construction section 2.3 – left-side flood protection facility (HWS left), including clearance of the foreland. The flood protection wall between the Zwötzen bridge and the Zwötzen railway bridge is to be newly constructed. In a partially set-back alignment, a flood protection wall approximately 200 m long is to be constructed as a sheet pile wall with a concrete facing. For an additional 200 m, a sheet pile wall with embankment on both sides is to be constructed.
