TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Free State of Thuringia represented by the Thuringian State Office for the Environment, Mining and Nature Conservation (TLUBN) plans measures to sustainably improve flood protection for the city of Gera along the Weiße Elster in Gera-Zwötzen to Gera-Liebschwitz. The project will be implemented in sections. The subject of this construction description is construction section 2.3 – flood protection facility on the left (HWS left), including removal of the foreland. The flood protection wall between the Zwötzen bridge and the railway bridge Zwötzen is to be newly constructed. A flood protection wall approximately 200 m long is to be constructed in a partially realigned alignment as a sheet-pile wall with a concrete facing. Over another 200 m, a sheet-pile wall is to be constructed with backfilling on both sides.
