TENDER DESCRIPTION

Kalmar Vatten AB (KVAB) invites suppliers to take part in an exciting, future-oriented procurement with a focus on developing new solutions for a safe and sustainable supply of drinking water. Against the background of future challenges involving reduced access to raw water, KVAB intends to rent a pilot plant for advanced water treatment for a period of two years. The plant is to be located at the newly built Kalmarsundsverket in Kalmar and used to investigate the possibilities of reusing treated wastewater for drinking water quality. The pilot plant is to include several advanced treatment steps, such as ozonation, reverse osmosis, etc. The project is carried out with support from Tillväxtverket and Region Kalmar län.
