TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the energy-efficient roof refurbishment of building I02 of Hannover Medical School (MHH). The scope of services comprises the following works: - **Planning services:** preparation of the required plans and calculations, in particular for the tapered insulation, parapets and securing systems as well as the lightning protection system. - **Demolition works:** dismantling the existing roof structures including vapour barrier, cellular glass insulation, bitumen waterproofing and gravel covering, and removing existing built-in components and metal coverings. - **Roof waterproofing works:** installation of the new roof structure with vapour barrier, thermal insulation and EPDM waterproofing including the required connections. - **Installation and sheet-metal (plumbing) works:** replacement of the rooflights and flat-roof drains, installation of emergency overflows and replacement of parapet cappings. - **Securing and lightning protection works:** installation of the fall protection anchors and replacement of the lightning protection system.
