TENDER DESCRIPTION
Demolition of the municipal building of Iitti, which has been taken out of use, including the connecting tunnel in accordance with the tender documents. Bids are requested as three (3) alternative bids: VE1: Demolition of the municipal building and complete demolition of the connecting tunnel VE2: Demolition of the municipal building, demolition of the internal services/technology of the connecting tunnel, filling of the connecting tunnel with foam concrete, crushed foam glass or other material with technically equivalent properties, and sealing/blocking off (plugging) VE3: Demolition of the municipal building and demolition of the internal services/technology of the connecting tunnel, and sealing/blocking off (plugging) of the connecting tunnel. The contracting authority selects the option based on the adequacy of appropriations/funding. Within the selected option, the selection criteria are overall economic advantage, the lowest price. The demolition contract will be carried out in accordance with the tender documents in autumn 2026. The demolition site is located at Rautatienkatu 20, 47400 Kausala.
