TENDER DESCRIPTION

Home care refers to the overall set of home nursing duties included in section 19 of the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014) and section 25 of the Health Care Act (1326/2010). The objective of home care is to support clients’ overall well-being and the most independent coping possible at home, and to maintain and improve their physical, mental and social functional capacity. Home care is granted to clients in accordance with their service needs and service decisions. The service provider must have a permit from the Regional State Administrative Agency (Aluehallintovirasto) and Valvira for the activities. The service that is the subject of the procurement is described in more detail in Annex 1 to the request to participate, the service description.
