TENDER DESCRIPTION

Lease of diesel railcars (DMU) for short and medium-distance routes. The sector procurement procedure will be concluded by signing a framework agreement for a period of 36 months with one or more economic operators. The framework agreement may be concluded with more than one economic operator; the maximum number will be 5 economic operators. The award of subsequent contracts is conditional upon the following suspensive clause: The award of subsequent contracts is conditional upon obtaining approval from the Authority for Railway Reform for the use, in the formation of the trains included in the Public Services Contract approved by H.G. no. 1453/2022, of the Diesel railcars (DMU) that will be leased, within a maximum of 90 days from the date of signing the framework agreement. In the event that the contracting entity does not obtain approval from the Authority for Railway Reform, the framework agreement shall cease by operation of law, without the intervention of the courts.
