TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the invitation to tender are the specialist planning services of Building Services Engineering for the energy-efficient refurbishment and modernisation of a school building. Scope of the construction works and planning requirements: Building envelope: Renewal and structural consideration of the complete façade and roof build-ups (thermal insulation), replacement of all windows, post-and-transom façades and exterior doors including dismantling of integrated upstand/parapet elements. Installation of solar shading systems (shutters on the south side, solar shading glazing on the north side) as well as enlargement of window openings in the basement for direct access to the schoolyard. Building services engineering (BSE/TGA): Modernisation of heating technology by switching from gas to an air-to-water heat pump, installation of building management and control technology (GModG-compliant) including digital thermostatic valve actuators, as well as installation of decentralised ventilation systems with heat recovery, CO2 control and cooling function in the classrooms/teachers’ rooms or in individual-room ventilation units in office spaces.
