TENDER DESCRIPTION

Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin intends to construct a pioneering new building for the German Heart Center of Charité (DHZC) in the southwestern area of the Campus Virchow-Klinikum (CVK). The planned new building will also house the Central Sterile Supply Department (ZSVA) and the Central Emergency Department (ZNA), and a helipad will be built on the roof of the building. The total usable area for the DHZC new building is approximately 29,800 m² with a gross floor area of about 75,600 m² and a gross volume of approximately 355,000 m³. The new building is planned to be constructed as a high-rise building with 16 upper floors and 2 underground floors, and a sustainability certification according to the system of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) in the "Gold" level is targeted for the building.
