TENDER DESCRIPTION
Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin intends to construct a pioneering new building for the German Heart Center of the Charité (DHZC) in the southwestern area of the Campus Virchow-Klinikum (CVK). The planned new building will also accommodate the Central Sterile Supply Department (ZSVA) and the Central Emergency Department (ZNA), and a helicopter landing pad will be constructed on the roof of the building. The total usable area for the DHZC new building is approximately 29,800 m² with a gross floor area of about 75,600 m² and a gross volume of approximately 355,000 m³. The plan is to erect the new building as a high-rise with 16 above-ground floors and 2 underground floors, and a sustainability certification according to the system of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) in the "Gold" level is aimed for the building.
