TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract is divided into 2 lots. Lot 1: Corrosion protection work with enclosure and scaffolding Lot 2: Provision of cranes for lifting the scaffolding and for replacing the gate Description for Lot 1: The component relevant for the tender is the chamber walls in the front third of the lock’s upper head. The affected areas are located on both sides of the chamber walls. The chamber walls consist of steel sheet-piling with an L24 profile; the sheet-piling is coated in the water-exchange area with a corrosion protection system. This corrosion protection must be renewed. The corrosion protection can only be carried out during the next lock dewatering/shut-down from 07.04.2027-23.04.2027, since the entire lock will be pumped out there. This is expected to be dewatered (pumped out) from 07.04.2027 (approx. 12:00). Flooding of the lock is expected to take place on 23.04.2027 (approx. 12:00). Site establishment may be carried out in advance on the lock apron. The execution of all main services must be carried out without fail in two-shift operation (early and late shift) during the period (e.g. 06:00 to 22:00) on working days (Monday to Saturday).
