TENDER DESCRIPTION

This concerns the planned concrete rehabilitation of the external balconies at Building 667 at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport. As part of the planning, however, an options study including a rough cost estimate is first to be carried out by the FBT. It must be checked whether the damage identified can be remedied by rehabilitating the existing external balconies or whether, alternatively, a dismantling of the existing structure should be considered. Based on the results of the options study, the option suitable for further planning and implementation is to be determined. The three-storey office building was constructed in 1985 using solid construction with externally located, covered external balconies and flat roofs. Originally, the buildings served as accommodation for soldiers until about 1995 and were subsequently renovated and put to office use. The LBB building at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is divided into three largely structurally identical sub-buildings A, B and C.
