L’actual sistema de comunicacions telefòniques de la XAL ha assolit el final de la seva vida útil, presentant una obsolescència tecnològica que impossibilita la implementació de protocols de veu sobre IP (VoIP) sota l’estàndard SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). La modernització d’aquest sistema és, per tant, una urgència operativa per garantir la integració de senyals telefònics amb qualitat broadcast.

Integration and commissioning of an integrated telephone and IP communications solution for the XAL. This solution must allow the complete replacement of the current telephone communications infrastructure, which still relies on xDSI, with a hybrid system based on high-density encoding hardware and line management. The current XAL telephone communications system has reached the end of its useful life, presenting technological obsolescence that makes it impossible to implement voice over IP (VoIP) protocols under the SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) standard.
