TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract is procured under the project “Smart waste collection in the town of Liptovský Mikuláš”. The description of the subject of the contract is based on the introduction of a quantity-based collection system for mixed municipal waste (hereinafter referred to as “MMW”) in the area of interest; it involves changing the flat-rate fee currently applied, into fees that will correspond to the actual quantity of MMW produced. The subject of the contract is the supply and implementation of a comprehensive system for intelligent MMW collection in the territory of the town of Liptovský Mikuláš. The objective of the solution is to ensure the technical, software and process prerequisites for transitioning from a flat-rate collection of fees to a quantity-based collection system, based on the truly produced quantity of MMW. The system will technologically consist of dynamic weighing systems installed on collection vehicles, RFID identification chips assigned to containers, control units for monitoring operations, and mobile terminals for recording containers.
