TENDER DESCRIPTION

The public lighting service forms part of the scope of community public utility services and includes all actions and activities of public utility and of general economic and social interest carried out at the level of administrative-territorial units under the direction, coordination and responsibility of the local public administration authorities, with the purpose of ensuring public lighting. In the sense of Law 230/2006, the public lighting system is the set made up of switching points, distribution boxes, transition boxes, underground or overhead low-voltage electrical lines, foundations, poles, earthing installations, brackets, lighting fixtures, accessories, conductors, insulators, terminals, fittings, control and switching equipment, automation and measuring equipment used for public lighting. The public lighting service consists of: - road-traffic street lighting; - pedestrian street lighting; - architectural lighting, ornamental lighting; - ornamental-festive lighting.
